LIC AAO AE Selection Process

There will be three stages of the selection process for LIC AAO 2023 Recruitment. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added for the selection as the prelim exam is qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained by a candidate in LIC AAO Main Examination (Phase II) and Interview.

1. The exam will be conducted online and the duration will be 1 hour or 60 minutes (20 minutes for each section).
2. There are 3 sections, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. Each question is given 1 mark.
3. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the prelims exam.
4. LIC AAO Prelims is qualifying in nature.

2. LIC AAO’s main exam consists of Objective Test (300 marks) & Descriptive Test (25 marks).
3. Both the exams will be conducted online mode. 
4. The descriptive exam will be through typing on the computer.
5. There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.

LIC AAO Interview 2023

Candidates who meet the LIC’s AAO minimum qualifying scores and cut-off are called for a personal interview. Additionally, the marks of the Mains exam are considered to select candidates for interviews. Furthermore, the number of candidates invited for interviews is three times the number of available positions. Therefore, it is essential to take multiple mock interviews to get selected in the third phase of the LIC AAO exam, which consists of 60 points. Those candidates who are unable to score above the minimum cut-off fail to make it to the final merit list even if they perform well in the Mains exam.
