NRA CET Syllabus 2020: Expected Syllabus For Common Eligibility Test

NRA CET Syllabus- The decision to set up NRA or National recruitment agency has been taken by the Union Cabinet and from next year all the non-gazetted job recruitment will be done by NRA through CET. CET will be a common eligibility exam and no matter which exam you are aiming for namely: SSC, Railways, or IBPS, one has to pass this to get eligible for the next stage.

Since the announcement of CET, students are perplexed about its syllabus. In this space, we are giving you an expected syllabus of CET to give you an idea of what all you can expect in next year’s exams. Kindly note that there is no as such notification from officials related to the CET 2021 but we will keep updating you as soon as any information will be available and hence you all are requested to either bookmark this page or keep visiting this space for all the latest developments.

NRA CET Syllabus

We are expecting that based on the exam pattern of all the three agencies namely- IBPS, Railways and SSC, there will be four sections i.e Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Given below is the Section-wise syllabus of the CET.

NRA CET English Syllabus

This is one section that aims to test the basic knowledge of this language of the candidate and hence one can expect Reading Comprehension, Error Detection, Synonym, and Antonym, Fill in the blanks, Sentence correction, etc. One needs to be well-versed in the grammatical rules to ace this section.

NRA CET Quantitative Aptitude Syllabus

This section checks the basic mathematical aptitude of a candidate. The syllabus will be of 10th level and will have topics from Arithmetics like Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Time and Work, Profit and loss. One may found algebra and trigonometry as well. Number series questions and Data Interpretation can also be seen and hence the wise thing would be to be well versed in the Arithmetic section as questions from this topic will definitely come.

NRA CET Reasoning Section Syllabus

This section tends to check the problem-solving ability of a candidate. Topics on Blood relation, Direction, and sense, Rank and Order, Clock etc. This section will be more clear once the syllabus of CET will be available.

NRA CET General Awareness

One can easily prepare for this section because this will contain questions from Current as well as from static GK. So one can always start the preparation of this section. Though the ratio of the two topics is not defined we are expecting that the Current affair section will be more than Static.

This is a generalise syllabus based on our own analysis and it is subjective to change once the final syllabus will be out. As mentioned earlier, there is no updates related to the CET Syllabus so far but we will keep updating you in this space so make sure you keep visiting this space. For more interesting and Informative articles, stay tuned to DreamBigInstitution
