SSC JE 2019-20 Exam Date: Check Exam Dates

SSC JE Exam Postponed: SSC JE (Junior Engineers) Examination for Civil, Electrical, Mechanical And Quantity Surveying & Contract was earlier scheduled to be held from 30th March to 2nd April 2020 in computer-based mode but now has been postponed by SSC due Coronavirus. New schedule for SSC JE Examinations will be released shortly, Candidates are advised to keep checking this page for the latest updates regarding SSC JE Exam Date.
SSC Junior Engineer (JE) 2019 is a good opportunity for those candidates who are aspiring to get an engineering job in a Government Organization. The selection process of SSC JE 2019 recruitment consists of Paper-1 & Paper-2.  This post will provide you with all the details regarding SSC JE Exam dates. The admit card for SSC JE will be available on the official regional websites of SSC in the month of March 2020.

SSC Junior Engineer 2019 Exam Pattern

Before appearing for the exam, it’s really important to know about the SSC JE Exam Pattern. Paper 1 will comprise of 3 subjects containing multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I. Here are the details:

  • Candidates will appear for the Part as per the stream chosen by him/her in the application form.
  • Candidates will be allowed to bring their own Slide–Rule, Calculator, Logarithm Tables and Steam Table for Paper-II only. They are not allowed to use such aids for Paper-I.
  • Marks will be normalized based on the number of shifts of the exam.
Paper-II will be held in a written format
The candidates qualifying in Paper 1 will be called for Paper 2 based on the marks scored. Check out the exam pattern for Paper 2:
