SSC JE 2023: Nationality
The SSC JE 2023 applicants should be citizens of any of the below-mentioned regions. They are eligible to take the exam as per the SSC JE 2023 Notification if they fulfill any of the criteria of nationality as listed below:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1962, with the intention of residing in India permanently, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire, Zambia, and Vietnam with the intention of settling in India permanently.

The candidates who clear the cutoff of SSC JE 2023 Paper 1 are going to appear for SSC JE Paper 2. The details of SSC JE 2023 Paper 2 are given below:
- The SSC JE 2023 Paper 2 is a descriptive type exam.
- SSC JE 2023 Paper 2 will have questions only from the technical subject as per the educational qualification of the candidate.
- The SSC JE 2023 Paper 2 will be a total of 300 marks.
