SSC JHT Recruitment 2022: Nationality
Candidates applying for SSC Junior Hindi Translator must be:
- An Indian citizen, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A Tibetan refugee (came to India before January 01, 1962), or
- A person of Indian origin (who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, Vietnam, etc. with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
SSC JHT Recruitment 2022: Educational Qualification
(a) FOR POSTCODES ‘A’ to ‘D’
Master‟s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Master‟s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Master‟s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
OR
Master‟s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with
English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Master‟s Degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with
Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of
examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level
AND
Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years‟ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

SSC JHT Recruitment 2022: Age Limit
- The lower age limit to appear in SSC JHT Exam is 18 years and the upper age limit is 30 years.

SSC JHT Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Candidates must appear for Paper 1 and get qualified for the next stage i.e. Paper 2 examination. Those qualifying paper 2 will be called for document verification and appointment based on merit.

- The fee is payable: Rs 100/-
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC), Persons with disability (PWD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
