The SBI PO Exam follows a two-stage selection process, starting with the Preliminary round. Only those candidates who successfully clear the Prelims stage are eligible to participate in the Main round.

SBI PO 2024 Salary Structure
According to the notification, a Probationary Officer (PO) will begin with a basic salary of Rs 41,960/-, which includes four advance increments. This salary falls within the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840, which is applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
In addition to the basic pay, the official will also be entitled to various allowances and benefits such as Dearness Allowance (D.A), House Rent Allowance (H.R.A) or Lease rental, City Compensatory Allowance (C.C.A), Medical benefits, and other allowances and perquisites as per the prevailing rules.
The total compensation on a yearly basis, calculated on a Cost to Company (CTC) basis, will range from a minimum of 8.20 lakhs to a maximum of 13.08 lakhs. This range depends on factors such as the place of posting and other relevant considerations.
