EPONYMOUS (adjective): नामस्रोत

  • Meaning:  of, relating to, or being the person or thing for whom or which something is named.
  • अर्थ: जिस व्यक्ति या किसी चीज़ का नाम रखा गया है, उसके लिए व्यक्ति या चीज़ से संबंधित है, या है।
  • Synonyms: namesake, cognominal, homonymous, swashbuckling.
  • Antonyms: anonymous, pseudo, unidentified, undisclosed.
  • Usage: By a curious coincidence all the names of eponymous heroes chanced to remind people of beasts.

 DIMINUTION (Noun) : अवनति

  • Meaning: a reduction in the size, extent, or importance of something.
  • अर्थ: किसी चीज के आकार, सीमा या महत्व में कमी।
  • Synonyms: curtailment,  contraction, constriction, restriction, limitation
  • Antonyms: increase, expansion, growth
  • Example:  The diminution of food court monitors has resulted in an increase in food fights at the high school.

Punctilious (Adjective) : समयनिष्ठ (पाबंद)

  • Meaning: showing great attention to detail or correct behaviour.
  • अर्थ: विस्तार या सही व्यवहार पर बहुत ध्यान देना।
  • Synonym: meticulous, conscientious, careful, diligent, attentive,
  • Antonym: careless, easy-going, slapdash

Unprecedented (adjective) : अभूतपूर्व

  • Meaning: never done or known before.
  • अर्थ: पहले कभी नहीं किया या जाना जाता है।
  • Synonym: unequaled, unmatched, unrivaled.
  • Antonym: precedented, familiar, usual.

GRISLY (Adjective) : क्रूर / डरावना
