SSC CGL Vacancy 2024
According to the official notification released for various posts, the Staff Selection Commission has stated that the recruitment will be done for 17727 tentative vacancies. The candidates should note that these vacancies released under SSC CGL Notification 2024, however, do not include the vacancy for the post of Assistant Audit Officer & Assistant Account Officer.

There are approx. 17727 vacancies. However, firm vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancies, if any, along with post-wise & category-wise vacancies will be made available on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in> For Candidates > Tentative Vacancy) in due course. Candidates may note that State-wise/ Zone-wise vacancies are not collected by the Commission.
SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates interested in applying for SSC CGL 2024 must fulfil the eligibility conditions specified in the official notification. Besides being a graduate, certain posts may have different age criteria. Some require having studied specific subjects in 12th grade or Graduation. Age Limit

- Candidates must apply online from the direct link provided above after activation or from the official website i.e. www.ssc.gov.in.
- Search for the SSC CGL Apply Online 2024 link, and click on it.
- Look for the “New User/Register Now” option and click on it.
- Enter the basic details like name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number.
- Verify the information carefully and the registration form, and submit and get the registration ID and password.
- Now log in using the registration ID and password, and upload the scanned copies of your photograph and signature.

SSC CGL Application Fees 2024
The SSC charges only a nominal fee of Rs. 100 to anyone applying to the SSC CGL examination. Candidates can pay the fees after filling in the application form. Any of the following methods may be used to pay the application fees: BHIM UPI/ Net Banking/ Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card/ Cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
Please note that women of all categories, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.

The new SSC CGL Selection Process involves only two stages of Computer-Based exams. Tier 1 is qualifying in nature. So, only marks obtained in SSC CGL Tier 2 will determine the final merit list.
