PSTCL 2021 Recruitment: Age Limit
Eligibility of Age Limit as on 1 Jan 2021 for AE(OT)/Electrical, AE(OT)/Civil, Account Officer, Assistant Manager-HR, IT will be 20 to 37 years.
Eligibility of Age Limit as on 1 Jan 2021 for Divisional Accountant, JE/Substation, JE/Civil, JE/Communication, Telephone Mechanic, Lower Division Clerk/Typist & Lower Division Clerk (Accountant) will be 18 to 37 years.
Note: The relaxation in age limit is admissible to candidates of Punjab Domicile only. All other age relaxation as per the govt. rule.
PSTCL Vacancies 2021: Knowledge of Punjabi
Knowledge of Punjabi is essential for all the posts. For this purpose, all the candidates must have passed Punjabi of atleast Matriculation or its equivalent level.
PSTCL Recruitment 2021: Selection Process & Online Exam Pattern
Eligible candidates will have to undergo an online test.
The question paper for each of the posts shall consist of 100 objective types of questions carrying 1 Marks each with a provision of negative marking of 0.25 marks.
The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
The questions will be asked from the concerned subject relevant to the post, general knowledge/awareness, reasoning/numerical ability & English language.
The Medium of the exam for all the posts except Telephone Mechanic will be English Only. For Telephone Mechanic, it will be bilingual i.e. for Punjabi & English.
The online exam will be held in June/July 2021.
The minimum qualifying marks for General Category is 50% & for Reserve Category is 40%.
